Quesería Lafuente is a medium-sized company which has been operating in the dairy industry since 1942, in the manufacturing and packaging of cheese.
Two of our production plants are located in Heras (Cantabria), another one in Arriondas (Asturias), and one more in Parma, Italy. Quesería Lafuente’s registered office and administrative headquarters are located in the industrial site of Heras (Cantabria).
Our farmers provide us daily with the best fresh milk from Asturias and Cantabria.
We manufacture fresh mozzarella, mozzarella for pizza, mascarpone, melted cheese, grated cheese, cheese slices, cheese creams as well as developing specific cheese products for the food manufacturing and the hotelry sector.

We have a fully equipped laboratory, specialized staff and an exhaustive analysis and control plan, which is verified by the LILC (Spanish acronym for the Inter-professional Milk Laboratory of Cantabria), which is the laboratory that sets the national standard.
We implement all controls, from receipt of the raw materials to final marketing of the products, therefore ensuring full traceability for each lot which reaches the consumer.
